Book a free buyer call

Twenty minutes with Jason Taken about buying a business in New York. Pick a time below — the calendar is on this page, so you do not lose whatever you were reading.

Pick a time

The calendar is served by OneCal and loads inside this page. If it does not appear — some browsers and privacy extensions block embedded content — open the booking calendar in a new tab. Same times, same call.

What to expect

How long is it?
Twenty minutes, by video or phone — whichever you pick when you book. If the conversation is useful and you want longer, we schedule that separately.
What does it cost?
Nothing, and there is no obligation afterwards. Most calls end with a couple of suggested next steps and nothing else.
What should I have ready?
Nothing formal. If you already have a target — a listing, a set of financials, an asking price — bring it. If you are earlier than that, bring the industry and the region you are thinking about.
Will you pitch me?
Jason is a business broker, so the commercial interest is real and worth stating plainly rather than pretending otherwise. What that means in practice: he will tell you if a deal looks wrong, because a buyer who overpays is not a repeat client.

When a call is worth your twenty minutes

  • You have found a listing and want a second read on the numbers before you spend money on a CPA.
  • You are choosing between two or three target industries and want a reality check on each.
  • You are an out-of-state buyer who needs a New York-specific view of taxes, licensing, and deal norms.
  • You have an asking price in front of you and no way to judge whether it is defensible.
  • You are stalled on how to find off-market opportunities in your region.

When it probably is not — yet

A call is not the fastest route to every question. If one of these is where you actually are, the page beside it will get you further in less time, and the calendar will still be here afterwards.
