Privacy policy

What we collect

• Email address — only if you email jason.taken@hedgestone.com directly.
• Calendar booking information — the name and email you give OneCal when booking a call. OneCal is the data controller for booking data; we receive only what you choose to share in the booking confirmation.
• Anonymous analytics — we use Plausible, a privacy-respecting analytics tool, to count page views, referrers and clicks on the booking button. Plausible sets no cookies and does not track people across sites. We do not sell or share this data.

What we do not collect

• We do not place advertising cookies and we run no advertising trackers.
• We do not sell data to third parties.
• The calculators send nothing anywhere. Every figure you type into the SDE calculator or the affordability calculator is processed entirely in your own browser. Nothing is transmitted, stored or logged. If you use the “copy shareable link” button, your figures are encoded into the URL you copy — so share that link only with people you intend to see them.
• We do not collect seller or business financial information through this site.

Booking calls

Every booking button on this site goes to our booking page rather than off-site. That page embeds the scheduler at https://app.onecal.io/b/jasontaken/free-biz-chat, operated by OneCal, in a frame. Because it is an embed rather than a link, OneCal loads in your browser as soon as you open that page — before you book anything — and can therefore see that you visited it and set its own cookies under its own domain. We consider that a fair trade for not throwing you off the site mid-read, but you should know it happens. No other page on this site embeds a third party.

When you book you are interacting with OneCal’s service and their privacy policy applies to what you enter there. We receive notice of the booking and the contact details you chose to share. If you would rather not load the embed at all, the booking page also carries a plain link that opens the same scheduler in a new tab, and you can reach Jason directly by email at jason.taken@hedgestone.com instead.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have shared with us by emailing jason.taken@hedgestone.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and will provide the prior version on request.
